The video game industry has focused stronger in recent years than before on remakes of older games classics. With releases like crash bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Resident Evil 2, Final Fantasy 7, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening could celebrate the respective studios great successes. Fans of the originals were allowed to experience their old favorite games in Brilliant HD and younger gamers were finally able to make games classics for which they may not have been old enough.
Video Game Remakes can achieve a large audience in this way and in certain cases such as the Crash Bandicoot trilogy even stored franchises help to new life. What games should be a remake?
The question of which games really deserve a remake can hardly be answered, as the selection of fantastic games is simply too big and the tastes are simply too different. With the ninth console generation in front of the door, the industry now looks back on countless favorite games, which sometimes have had to wait for their second chance for decades.
