The social game Among US took an internet assault last year and gave us something fun to do in quarantine. Now, this independent mastodon is preparing to do PlayStation, and we may finally have an output date. The console outputs for the game were announced in March and confirmed as always in the AMONG US shared roadmap during the Summer Game Fest. According to the Twitter PlayStation Game Size account, which keeps a trace of news and leaks, Among US has been officially added to the PlayStation database, and the release date has been set at August 31, 2021.
Of course, this does not guarantee that it will be the actual release date of the game. We still live in the era of the constant delays of video games, after all, but even beyond that, developers often put a date of Reserved space output for ports or updates on which they always work. The innerrsloth developer is a very small independent studio and he's already working hard on another new card, a new cache-cache, visor cosmetics and achievements, among other things, so it's quite possible that this date has been chosen at random. However, fans can always use it as an approximate way to judge how far the PlayStation port of Among US is located.
As we said, it should not be considered an official release date, but it is a very specific date to use as a reserved area. On August 31 is only in two months, which means that Innersloth must be confident enough in the way the PlayStation port sets up. In the best case, we could see Among US on the PlayStation consoles by the end of the summer. AMONG US Console editions should be launched with interesting features and PlayStation users will get a Ratchet & Clankskin, a hat and an exclusive pet with whom scroll. Everyone in the game will be so jealous.
