Since the established immediate withdrawal from the 3rd division, Turkgücü Munich has reorganized. At the end of April, Taskin Akkay was elected as the new board, at the same time those responsible had worked on an integration into the regional league, which was particularly dependent on the search for a home venue.
Now there is clarity: As announced by Türkgücü on Friday, the club will definitely start in the regional league in the coming season. The Munich team plays their home games partly in the stadium of SC Fürstenfeldbruck and in the Grünwald stadium. "Sportily, a solid squad is put together, which will play competitive in the Regionalliga 2022/23," says the association's statement. "The first player contracts are already available to the board. Financial planning is conservative and down -to -earth."
"Value -oriented action" as the basis of the new board
In this assembly, the new board "does not only want to be understood as a new personnel change in the club management", as the statement states. It is also about a "programmatic new positioning". The future of the association, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in two years, is therefore primarily intended to be based on a "value-oriented action".
The new club leadership wants to differentiate itself from the past few years at Türkgücü Munich. Under the former donor and President Hasan Kivran, the club had pushed from the Landesliga to the 3rd division and even declared the 2nd division to the goal. At the beginning of the year, however, Türkgücü had to submit an bankruptcy application and finally even completely retired from the 3rd league - with far -reaching consequences for the entire league.
