If 2262 Europeans for a qualifying tournament are powers, that's too many. This fact not only complain to many professionals, but also the Swiss national coach Thomas 'Janthana' Temperli.
"EA should reduce the number of participants. [...] Who does not belong to the absolute top, who has nothing to look for the qualifiers," Temperli says. He welcomes the qualification conditions intensified to FIFA 22.
Instead of awarding Quali Tickets on a good result in the Weekend League, this season has to be cracked a fixed point limit in Division Rivals. Previously, many players had more secured by diligence than can their place secured.
The numbers also reflect: in FIFA 19, around 300 ambitious Zocker participated in the EU qualifiers. In FIFA 20, the number rose to over 1300, in FIFA 21, she quickly quickly reached 2262 at a tournament.
Due to the changes, the situation has relaxed again. At the qualifier in early February, more than 600 players occurred in Europe. According to Temperli, the boundary is still too low, but "It's the right idea to prelude prior to the qualifiers".
Waiting for nothing
The FIFA coach sees two problems at low qualification requirements: "This makes the qualifiers crumpled with players and take several hours." And: "With so many players you lose the overview."
FIFA players complain about the hours of quality for years. With his second point, Temperli refers to the media development of the scene. Because when the tournaments are countless new faces and each time another professional wins, EA is difficult to focus on individual talents and stars.
Presumably a reason why the developer always returns to the same prominent names like Donovan 'Tekkz' Hunt. Often, however, they fly out early and suddenly stands a player in the final, from which the viewer has never heard and is uninterested - with poor audience numbers as a result.
Wrong hopes
As evidence of the low quality requirements, Temperli introduces its own qualification: "I honestly do not see myself as a top player." Hardworking players would continue to create it through the bonds - only to fly out after a few rounds.
A successful qualification thus also carries dangers. For those who play at the highest level, in the Global Series, dreams of a professional career quickly. Most of them, however, it is nothing, after all, thousands of other players are also limited and the money in the scene is limited.
When asked if a career in Efootball is currently worthwhile, Temperli says: "I would not advise, try to become Efootballer. Not because I believe that it has no potential, but because I believe that most players do not believe that most players are aware of what it belongs. "
It's not enough to play only well. Professionals would have to build their own brands nowadays by streaming and cultivating their social media appearance. Everything costs time. Who does not have this to follow his passion, should therefore not be too much hopes. Alone the qualifying tournaments eventually cost countless hours.
